Holmach Ltd, will be demonstrating the latest technology at PPMA 2018, NEC Birmingham 25-27 September on stand C30.
UHDE, part of the Thyssenkrupp group of companies will be hosting a virtual reality tour of its High Pressure Pasteurisation (HPP) equipment. By donning the special headwear, visitors can look around the machine, whilst sampling a high-quality HPP produced juice.
Single use plastics are a hot topic and Holmach will be presenting a fully, biodegradable, retortable container, made from pulped material, which has already garnered great interest amongst food manufacturers and major supermarkets. Lagarde Autoclaves, the leading manufacturer of steam and air retort systems for pasteurising and sterilising packaged and non-packaged food products, has patented the process of board ready-meal trays. A pilot autoclave will be on the stand, along with a selection of the new, eco-friendly dishes.
A scaled-down version of Revtech’s cutting edge technology in roasting, toasting, pasteurising and heat treatment of a wide variety of cereals, grains, nuts and spices will be on show, along with samples of treated products.
Representing Terlet’s range of thermal processing equipment, a Terlotherm scraped surface heat exchanger will be on display, with experts on hand to explain the technology, suitable for a range of food and non-food-based applications.
An area will be dedicated to Holmach’s non-food, filling and closing capabilities, which includes monoblocks, rotary fillers, multi-stream filling, palletising and trigger pump applications.
Holmach’s sales, technical and engineering team will be available during the event to offer their expertise in thermal processing solutions and arrange trials and demonstrations.
