Cooking and Cooling Systems

 

Terlet is an established international manufacturer of cooking and cooling vessels, scraped surface heat exchangers and together with Terlet Processing Systems, offer complete turnkey product preparation facilities.

 

Founded in 1917, Terlet are now part of Stibbe Management, a Dutch industrial group, that also covers mixing and separation technologies, as well as pharmaceutical, environmental and waste management equipment.

 

Terlet can manufacture horizontal or vertical vessels from 50 to 50,000 litres, for cooking or cooling, for buffering or bulk product supply.  A large range of low and high shear mixing solutions are offered with in-vessel or inline homogenisation and emulsification, and scraped surface and anchor and auger agitation.

 

The Terlotherm™ is a market leading scraped surface heat exchanger aimed at particulate or viscous products such as fruit and vegetable slurries, sauces, soups confectionary and bakery ingredients.

The Terlotherm has 3 main advantages

 

These features lead to a much easier and cost effective maintenance solution as well as a small footprint.  Outstanding heating or cooling performance comes as standard, naturally.

 

For a different market, Terlet also provide vacuuming and gassing system for powders and the Van Meurs bag-in-box unit for aseptic and clean fill products.
