Rigid Container Filling and Closing
CFT Packaging was formed in 2007 by the merger of SIMA and Comaco under the Catelli Group umbrella, to provide a total solution for the filling and closing of cans, jars and bottles for the food industry.
Based in Montecchio near Parma in Northern Italy, CFT employ nearly 100 people in the design and manufacture of ultimate solutions for the packaging of products such as edible oils, soups, sauces, preserves and condiments at speeds ranging from 50 to 1500 containers per minute and from sizes ranging from 100 grams to 200kgs.
The range is made up of sophisticated in-line and rotary technology using volumetric, weigh and flow meter filling to suit the products.
In addition, CFT are at the forefront of can closing equipment with single and multi-head can seamers fabricated in stainless steel to suit today’s requirements for outstanding hygiene. Rotary seamers can be fitted with 3 to 12 heads on standard, composite and aluminium cans as well as standard, easy open or peelable ends.
