Holmach Ltd was founded in 1974 as Peter Holland Food Machinery for the provision
of processing solutions – mainly in thermal and vegetable processing.
In the last ten years, Holmach has specialised to become the leading provider of
thermal processing solutions in Great Britain.
Holmach’s capability covers all kinds of cooking and in-container processing, from
ready meals and sauces to rice and pasta. Holmach specialises in the science of
pasteurisation and sterilisation of both wet and dry foodstuffs.
In 2000, Managing Director Chris Holland, purchased Peter Holland Food Machinery
from the Peter Holland Group and concentrated on thermal processing and its developing
market profile.
As well as consultancy and sales of machinery, Holmach Ltd has customer support based
at the offices near Stamford, Lincolnshire.
ABOUT HOLMACH LTD
Chris is a permanent member of the Scientific and Technical committee at Campden
BRI. Previously he was a Director of the PPMA (Processing and Packaging Machinery
Association) and Chairman of the Heat Preserved Foods Panel at Campden BRI for 6
years.
